Kavita Govindjee is the founder and director of Khulbha, a company specialising in leadership development since 2018. She is credentialed by the International Coaching Federation (ICF) as an Associate Certified Coach and partners with leaders to activate their potential.
Since 2020 to date, Kavita has offered coaching to women leaders in higher education under the HELM Women in Leadership Programme. She also offers executive coaching and bespoke facilitation to corporations and entrepreneurs.
He has been a mentor on the National Institute for Humanities and Social Sciences (NIHSS) Doctoral Mentorship Programme for the last 2 years, and has recently been nominated to serve for his third term. He has also been involved in the Women in Leadership (WiL) coaching programme, having coached/mentored women academic leaders in various management and leadership roles.
Kavita holds the Bachelor of Commerce Honours degree as well as a Diploma in Integral Practitioner Coaching. She is currently completing a Master of Commerce Degree in Industrial Psychology (Research), focusing on the contribution of generic coaching to self-leadership. Kavita, an Enneagram practitioner, offers an integral approach to coaching and uses various tools to enhance the coaching process for accelerated growth. She serves the ICF South African Chapter and is a member of the leadership committee of the Businesswomen’s Association (Gqeberha).
