Prof Nonhlangabezo N Mabuba is an Associate Professor and the Deputy Director for the Centre of Nanomaterial Science Research at the Faculty of Science, UJ. She has a PhD in Natural Sciences from Duisburg-Essen Universität, Germany in 2010. She has leadership skills from Future Professors Program and Women Leadership at UJ. She is a highly committed teacher, science advocate, a researcher who supervises students towards developing sustainable water quality monitoring and treatment protocols for community development. For global recognition she has an H-index of 20. She mentored and graduated PhD and MSc female students and empowers female employees to study further.
