Prof Satsope Maoto, C2 NRF rated researcher, is the current Executive Dean: Faculty of Humanities at University of Limpopo. Her philosophy of leadership, administration, teaching, learning, and research is grounded on leading with the head, heart and hands. Throughout her academic and professional journey, she has accepted the role of a potential case study for the benefit of colleagues, in that way allowing them to test what for them would be unchartered territory. She has been a founding member of the University of Limpopo Women’s Academic Solidarity Association (ULWASA) from 2007 and continues as a member to date.
