Brightness Mangolothi

Brightness Mangolothi is a Director at HERS-SA. A former Head of Department for Public Relations and Communication Studies at Nelson Mandela University and Head of Programme at AdvTech Independent Institute of Education (IIE). She has more than a decade lecturing and research supervision experience at public and private universities.

Amanda Rohner

Amanda joined the events management team for the 2014 ACADEMY as the Finance and Procurement officer on a part-time basis as of October 2014. She then became the Finance Administrator in January 2021. She is dedicated to provide service with zeal and has extensive customer service experience in various sectors. She is passionate about education and learning and is currently involved as a facilitator to advance the reading and writing skills of young learners.

Board Members

HERS-SA is a Voluntary Association and according to its Constitution, is required to have “Members” serving on the HERS-SA Board who monitor, support and advise the Association to help it meet its goals. Members convene at an Annual General Meeting(AGM).

Dr Soraya Beukes

Dr Soraya Beukes is a motivated and inspirational human rights lawyer and social justice activist. Her work focuses on how corruption impacts on socioeconomic rights. 

Shahieda Hendricks-Adams

Shahieda Bebe Hendricks-Adams is an Education Training, Development and HR Practitioner with 25 years’ experience in the coaching, management and training sphere, more specifically in Neuro-based coaching, multiple braining integration techniques (mBIT) coaching, mediation, counselling, training, facilitation, skills development processes and Neuro-Linguistics Programming (NLP).

Dr Mamsie Motshekga-Sebolai

Dr Mamsie Motshekga-Sebolai’s professional experience spans over 25 years across public and private education. She served in Higher education institutions both private and public, occupying several senior positions.  She previously worked at Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) as a Director Human Resource Development.

Nonkululeko Tsita

Nonkululeko Tsita has a proven history of leadership in management accounting functions, system implementations, and business process improvements. Her career spans more than 25 years of experience, working in both private and public sector developing and implementing activity based costing models, resource allocation models, pricing strategies, conducting corporate benchmarking, rationalisation and turnaround strategies. as well as conducting financial viability studies.

Ursula Riddles

Ursula Riddles has worked in finance for almost 18 years, and she is particularly skilled in financial management and commerce. She has a Bachelor of Honors in Commerce (UWC, 2015), a Master of Business Information Systems (CPUT, 2022) and is presently enrolled in the Doctor of Business Informatics program (CPUT, 2023–present). She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Government Finance, Audit, and Risk Officers (CIGFARO) as well as the South African Institute of Professional Accountants (SAIPA). She is the manager of TFG’s accounts payable division.
